Kashmir's IAS prodigy Athar Amir Khan, the second topper of the 2015 UPSC batch, is all remarry after his separation from his first wife Tina Dabhi. He is marrying a Kashmiri doctor. Athare took to Instagram to post his engagement picture with Dr.Mehran Qazi, a Kashmiri doctor besed in Delhi. Athar captioned it as "engagement".
A resident of Umar Colony Lal Bazar, Dr Mehreen works in a Delhi-based hospital Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Ressearch Center. Besides being a medical practioner, she is involved in the fashion industry and promotes women-related brands. She has more than 2 lakh followers on Instagram. Reportedly, the couple got engaged in May and are slated to marry this October.
Athar is Commissioner of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation and is involved in the Srinagar smart city project. It may be mentioned that he is remarrying a few months after his fellow batchmate Tina Dabi, (topper of the 2015 batch) remarried. Both Aamir and Tina had got married on April 7, 2018. However, the much-celebrated wedding did not last long. Khan and Dabi got divorced on August 10, 2021.
Tina Dabi remarried Dr Pradeep Gawande, senior IAS officer from Rajasthan cadre at a private ceremony in Rajasthan's Jaipur.
Dr Mahreen has received her education from Punjab and germany. She is a social media influencer and desribes herself as a "dreamer, and an aciever."
