Azmia writes, "Here's an easy way to make it for your Iftar gathering this Ramadan, so you can save time and energy. I used ready made plain puffs or khara as they call it here. The ones I bought are from karachibakery."

Ingredients: 300g Plain Puffs (Khara) 700ml milk 250ml heavy cream 4 tbsp sugar (adjust according to sweet preference) Handful of chopped and toasted almonds, pistachio, 1/4 cup dessicated coconut 1 tin @nestle.india cream 2-3 tbsp demerera sugar Method: - Preheat oven to 180C. I Lined a baking tray with the puffs and baked them for 6 mins so they were crunchier. - Heat milk, cream and sugar up to a simmer and sugar is dissolved. - In a baking dish, break up the puffs and set them in one uniform layer.Pour the hot milk mixture and cover them in it. Sprinkle a mix of the nuts and coconut and repeat until you reach the top and all of the puffs are submerged in the milk. - Dollop the thick cream on top and sprinkle of demerara sugar. Broil for 7-8 mins until sugar is caramelized ( keep and eye on this as you can burn it ) - Garnish with more nuts, coconut and rose petals. Its best served hot! If you have leftovers and you want reheat it. Add more milk on top and let it rehydrate and heat it in the oven before serving👌🏼
