While on one hand Punjab is the only non-hill state to face the worst floods in living memory with all its 23 district under water, the Punjabi spirit is in full display as actors, and artists from the state are chipping in to provide relief to victims in a major way.
In a major humanitarian gesture Muslims have opened the doors of mosques to house about 3 lakh people displaced by floods across 23 districts of Punjab.
Prominent among those who have offered to rehablitate the flood affected people are Sonu Sood, Amrik Virk, Diljit Doshanj and Sanjay Dutt. Apart from pledging financial supported they have also made appeals for help for the people devastated by floods on X and other media:

The IPS officers of the state have pledged their one-day's salary to the Chief Minister's fund for flood effected people of Punjab:

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt who has roots in Punjab promised to help the victims. He wrote on social media:

Muslim organizations, especially those located in Haryana, are collecting relief materials at madrasas and local branches of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind for victims of the Punjab floods.
Videos of relief being provided by these organizations are going viral on social media.

Muslims living in the Mewat region of Haryana have launched a door-to-door collection campaign for relief materials in the affected areas of Punjab. Essential items like rations, clothes, mosquito nets, animal feed, medicines and clean drinking water have been sent in large quantities.
From village Ujana of the Jind district of Haryana, local Muslim leaders have collected 150 quintals of wheat flour, which has been sent to Punjab in tractor trolleys. A place was designated in the village where people could bring whatever relief material they wanted.
The people of Mewat were active not only at the individual level but also at the institutional level. Madrasa Zeenat Uloom located in Narayangarh, Ambala, has been designated as a collection for relief material.
According to Maulana Shaukat Ali, so far, more than 2500 food kits have been sent from Madrasa Zeenat Uloom to Punjab. Apart from this, 15 pickup vans have also left for the flood-affected areas of Punjab carrying relief material.
From many villages of the Yamunanagar district, Muslims collected food items and lakhs of rupees in cash for the flood victims.
Relief items being packed and sent to Punjab
Members of the community say that in the true spirit of Chad-di kalan (Undying spirit), it is our duty to stand with the flood-affected in this difficult time. Mosques are appealing to people to donate in cash and kind towards the victims of the worst-ever tragedy.
So far, lakhs of rupees in cash and several quintals of food items have been collected. This relief material will be delivered to a madrasa in Narayangarh, Ambala district, and from there it will be sent to the affected districts of Punjab.
A meeting of the Muslim Organization of Punjab was held in Dayalpur's RCF Colony. The head of the mosque committee Haji Khushi Muhammad asked the community members to extend their helping hand to the flood victims.
In the Maand area of Punjab, Maulana Amanullah, President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind Kapurthala and Shahi Imam of Kapurthala, Maulvi Abdul Hameed, Mansoor Ali and others visited the flood-affected areas.

Punjab is currently reeling from the worst floods in its recent history, with 29 people killed and thousands displaced. The devastation is being blamed on incessant rains and the release of water from dams.
