As the first day of Ramzan begins in India and several parts of the world, Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahali, Chairman of the Islamic Center of India, has issued a 15-point advisory including the dos and do not's for the Indian Muslims furing the holy month.
Firangi Mahali, who is among the most respected Islamic scholars of India, asked the devour to pray for the safety of the country and brotherhood. He asked them to take care and not make unnecessary noise in the morning during Sehri.
The following advisory has been issued by his organization:
Observe fasting and prayer – Ramzan is the holiest month, in which fasting is obligatory for every Muslim.
Take special care of Sehri and Iftar – Sehri and Iftar are special prayers of this month, which need to be taken care of.
Do not make repeated announcements on the mike – Avoid making repeated announcements on the mic during Sehri so that other people are not inconvenienced.
Community leaders have started organising community Iftar as was seen in Hyderabad through a post on X:

Pay attention to Taraweeh Namaaz – it is Sunnah, so it should be performed with full respect.
Park your vehicles at the right place – Park your vehicles at the right place outside mosques so that there is no traffic jam.
Include the poor in Iftar – Include the poor in large-scale Iftar parties.
Pay attention to cleanliness in mosques – Ensure cleanliness of mosques and surrounding areas during Ramzan.
Help the needy – Zakat and Sadakat have special significance in Ramzan, so follow it.
Pray for the safety and brotherhood of the country – Pray for the well-being of your country and society during Ramzan.
Do not make noise during Sehri – Avoid making too much noise early in the morning, so that others are not disturbed.
Promote Deen and Quranic learning – Use this month to promote Quranic learning and Islamic teachings.
Maintain discipline in mosques – Ensure proper arrangements for the Namazis coming to the mosques.
Avoid unnecessary rumours – Stay away from rumour during Ramzan and maintain peace in society.
