London
England all-rounder Ben Stokes has announced his retirement from the One Day International (ODI) format of the game.
He will be playing his last ODI on Tuesday against South Africa in Durham.
31-year-old Stokes has played 104 ODI matches that included his man of the match winning performance against New Zealand in the 2019 ICC World Cup final.
The captain of the England side in Tests tweeted:

He announced that he will concentrate on Test cricket and the T20I format now.
After making his ODI debut against Ireland in 2011, Stokes has scored 2919 runs, including three centuries, and taken 74 wickets.
He captained England’s ODI side during last summer's 3-0 victory against Pakistan.
Stokes is the second member of England’s ODI squad to retire form the format. Eoin Morgan retired from the game in June after the series against Netherlands.
He said it was unsustainable for him to play to give 100 per cent in all the three formats of the game.

He took a break from Cricket last summer to deal with his mental health issues. He did not even opt for the IPL auction to manage his workload.
