Gujarat Titans have reaffirmed their winning mindset ahead of IPL 2026, with head coach Ashish Nehra stating that the team’s approach remains unchanged—focused firmly on competing at the highest level.

Addressing the gathering at Shubharambh 2026, an event attended by players, team owners, partners, and fans, Nehra emphasised that the responsibility lies with the players to deliver on the field. He noted that the team management continues to place strong trust in the players’ decision-making during matches.

Highlighting the franchise’s philosophy, Nehra said the Titans have always aimed to be contenders rather than mere participants. He stressed that despite being a relatively new team, they never adopted a long-term settling approach and instead targeted success from the outset.

Since their debut in 2022, Gujarat Titans have emerged as one of the most consistent sides in the league, securing a playoff spot in three out of four seasons and clinching the title in their very first year.

Speaking about stability within the squad, Nehra pointed to skipper Shubman Gill, who has been part of the team since its inception and understands its journey closely. He indicated that the team sees no reason to alter its strategy going into the new season.

The Shubharambh 2026 event marked the beginning of the franchise’s new campaign while also celebrating its five-year journey. The occasion reflected the team’s unity, ambition, and strong connection with its fan base in Gujarat.
