In 2020 a meme "Oooo Bhaiii Maaro Mujhe Maaro..Ekdum Se Waqt Badal diya, Jazbat badal Diye, Halaat Badal diye.." featuring a Pak cricket fan went viral on Instagram and YouTube.

Little did the face of the meme Momin Saquib, 28,  know that this was the beginning of his stardom on various social media platforms. From getting instant fame and followers, Momin became the face of Pakistan's cricket fans.

In the 2020 viral video, Momin can be seen criticizing the Pak players for their sluggish attitude. A lot seems to have changed since then, with Pak defeating India after 8 years in T20 World Cup and qualifying for the finals, Momin Saquib becoming an internet sensation and cheering the Pak cricket team at their every match.

Last night India defeated Pak by 5 wickets in a super thrilling chase of 147 runs at Dubai International Stadium. But the social media was waiting eagerly for Momin's hilarious videos.

The cherry on the top was his candid conversation with Virat and Hardik where he in his Punjabi-Urdu accent can be seen telling them "Mubarak aapko...Inshallah..final katthe khelenge..." (Congratulations, looking forward to play the finals).

Here's a compilation of all the meme-worthy clips as shared by Momin on his Instagram account.

After Pak's top order collapsed, he enacted the role of a sick person who is disheartened. He even roped in the security personnel in his reels.

The most loved reel was his conversation with Virat and Hardik where he is seen shaking hands, congratulating the Indian side and hoping to play the finals together. Whike many may call it hyperbole but for cricket lovers this is a norm.

Momin Saquib's reels crossed 1 million views yesterday with comments pouring in from both sides.

For the unversed, the Asia Cup started on 27th August and has Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong competing with each other for the prestigious title.

Given the probability, the chances of India and Pak playing in the finals seems high but the T20 format is the most unpredictable one. The finals will be played next month on the 11th.

A sure-shot clash between the two teams is scheduled for World T20 on 23rd October.
