India skipper KL Rahul won the toss and chose to bowl in the deciding third One-Day International against South Africa at Visakhapatnam on Saturday.

India made one change from the side that lost the second ODI in Raipur, bringing in Tilak Varma in place of all-rounder Washington Sundar.

South Africa, struggling with injuries to key players Nandre Burger and Tony de Zorzi, included Ryan Rickelton and Ottneil Baartman as replacements. Burger and de Zorzi are expected to be sidelined for a couple of weeks, with Burger experiencing right hamstring discomfort in the previous game and de Zorzi suffering a right hamstring injury while batting.

The series is tied 1-1, after India won the first ODI and South Africa bounced back to level it in Raipur. Notably, KL Rahul ended India’s 20-match losing streak in tosses by winning today.
