Angkrish Raghuvanshi of Kolkata Knight Riders has been fined 20 per cent of his match fee for an emotional outburst after being dismissed for obstructing the field during his side’s Indian Premier League match against Lucknow Super Giants.

KKR went on to win the match through a Super Over on Sunday night.

According to an IPL statement, Raghuvanshi was also handed one demerit point for breaching Level 1 of the league’s Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials.

He was found guilty under Article 2.2 of the code, which relates to abuse of cricket equipment, clothing, ground equipment or fixtures during a match.
