The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) on Tuesday said it carried out more than 50 overnight strikes targeting facilities linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including command centres, weapons depots and air defence systems.

In an update shared on X, the IDF stated that it has launched over 3,000 strikes across Iran since the beginning of Operation Roaring Lion. The latest wave of attacks also included ballistic missile storage and launch sites, signalling an intensification of its ongoing campaign.

Amid the escalating conflict, reports of violence emerged from across the region. According to Al Jazeera, explosions were heard in Baghdad, while a US airstrike on a PMF base in Iraq reportedly left at least 14 people dead. Iranian media, cited by the outlet, also reported strikes on energy infrastructure.

Authorities in Bahrain said a fire broke out at a facility, blaming what they described as “criminal Iranian aggression”.

In Israel, six people sustained minor injuries after an Iranian missile struck Tel Aviv, according to The Times of Israel. A Channel 12 report, citing police, said the projectile carried around 100 kilograms of explosives, causing damage to buildings and vehicles. Missile debris also fell in Rosh Ha'ayin.

Meanwhile, Press TV reported that Imam Ali Hospital in Andimeshk had been evacuated and was no longer operational following strikes attributed to the US and Israel.

Further adding to regional tensions, an Israeli strike reportedly hit a petrol station in southern Lebanon, triggering a large explosion and fire. Displacement warnings were also issued to residents in the area, according to Al Jazeera.

On the diplomatic front, Arab News, citing Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth, reported that Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei may be open to negotiations with the United States. The report referred to a conversation between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US intermediary Steve Witkoff, said to have been approved at the highest level in Iran.
