Teen racing sensation Ishaan Madesh of Peregrine Racing heads into the final weekend of the Formula 4 Indian Championship with eyes on a decisive finish as the 13th and 14th races take place at the Madras International Circuit.

Currently third in the standings, the Kolkata Royal Tigers driver is determined to end his rookie single-seater season on a high note. Born in Bengaluru, Ishaan, who turns 17 on December 17, has already claimed victories earlier this season in Chennai, alongside six podiums, three wins, and two best-lap accolades.

Ishaan’s confidence stems from consistent performances across all four championship rounds. A decorated karter, he is an eight-time Indian National Champion, two-time Meritus Champion, and one of India’s most accomplished young motorsport talents. He has represented India at several global events, including the Rotax World Finals in Italy and Bahrain, the X30 World Finals at Le Mans, the FIA Academy Trophy, and the World Motorsport Games.

In 2025, Ishaan made the transition to formula racing, competing simultaneously in the MRF 2000 Series, Indian F4 Championship, and Rotax Max Nationals. His season highlights include a podium and commanding win at Kari Motor Speedway, as well as multiple strong points finishes that have kept him in contention.

Known for his analytical approach and composed aggression, Ishaan combines speed with racecraft beyond his years. Off-track, he meticulously prepares by analyzing telemetry, reviewing race footage, and maintaining a strict training regimen.

“Chennai is a track I enjoy, and I’m fully focused on fighting at the front and finishing the championship on a winning note,” he said.
