Kerala Health Minister Veena George on Monday announced that the state’s Health and General Education departments will jointly roll out a programme aimed at ensuring the physical and mental well-being of schoolchildren.
The initiative seeks to make children "ambassadors of health," spreading awareness from schools to homes and into the wider community, the minister said.
Speaking after inaugurating the state-level observance of National Deworming Day, Veena George added that the programme will focus on the holistic development of each child, addressing physical, mental, and intellectual health.
