The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) and the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, have jointly announced the launch of a Global Leadership Development Programme for Entrepreneurs, a first-of-its-kind international certification designed to help founders scale businesses across global markets.

The nine-month live online programme, delivered in collaboration with TimesPro, aims to strengthen leadership capabilities, strategic decision-making, digital transformation skills and financial acumen among entrepreneurs and business leaders.

The curriculum spans 25 disciplines across five modules, covering leadership, strategy, operations, digital marketing, product management, venture financing and governance. The programme also includes international immersion, on-campus residencies at both IIM Indore and the University of Glasgow, and a capstone project focused on applying learning to participants’ own ventures.

Speaking on the launch, Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, said the programme reflects the institute’s commitment to developing globally competitive, purpose-driven entrepreneurs capable of navigating volatility, digital disruption and international expansion.

Prof. Graeme Roy, Head of School at Adam Smith Business School, said the collaboration connects Indian founders to global perspectives, research and networks, enabling them to design scalable, sustainable and socially responsible business models.

Sridhar Nagarajachar, Business Head – Executive Education, TimesPro, said the programme enables founders to access world-class executive education through a flexible blend of live online learning and immersive campus experiences with minimal disruption to business operations.

The programme begins with an on-campus module at IIM Indore, followed by online learning jointly delivered by both institutions. Participants will then attend a five-day immersion at the University of Glasgow, before concluding with a final residency at IIM Indore for capstone presentations and certification.

The programme is open to entrepreneurs, startup founders, business unit heads, family business successors and innovation leaders, with a minimum qualification of graduation and at least two years of work experience.
