Shashikant Suthar on Tuesday claimed there was “concrete evidence” supporting allegations of a leak in the NEET-UG 2026 examination paper, stating that multiple questions from the test matched PDFs allegedly circulated before the exam.

Speaking to ANI in Jaipur, Suthar said the suspected leak came to light after the examination held on May 3, when he was reviewing the paper and addressing students’ queries.

According to him, an acquaintance showed him a PDF containing Chemistry questions. After comparing the document with the actual NEET-UG paper, he claimed all 45 questions matched exactly.

“After the exam on May 3 and while solving the paper for my students, I met a known person who showed me a PDF with Chemistry questions. When I compared those 45 questions with the NEET-UG paper, I was shocked because every question matched,” Suthar said.

He further alleged that a separate PDF containing Biology questions was also verified with the help of another teacher.

“We asked a teacher to compare 90 Biology questions with those in the NEET paper, and those matched too. We then approached the NTA with the information, and they acted quickly. The CBI and Rajasthan SOG were also brought into the investigation,” he added.

Suthar claimed the existence of what he described as “solid evidence” forced authorities to take a decision on conducting the examination again.

“This time we had concrete evidence, and the government had to take a call on re-NEET,” he said.

Expressing concern over the alleged involvement of educators in the controversy, Suthar said the incident had deeply impacted students who spent months preparing for the examination.

“As a teacher, I never imagined another teacher could be involved in such a thing. Students make huge sacrifices, and incidents like this destroy their hard work,” he said.

The controversy surrounding the NEET-UG 2026 examination has intensified following allegations of a paper leak and the subsequent cancellation of the exam.
