Filmmaker Abhishek Pathak went down memory lane and shared clips from "Drishyam" as the film completed 11 years of release.

The film featured Ajay Devgn in the role of Vijay Salgaonkar alongside Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, and Mrunal Jadhav and was a Hindi remake of the 2013 Mohanlal-starrer "Drishyam". It released on July 31, 2015 and was directed by late Nishikant Kamat with Pathak serving as co-producer.

Pathak later went on to direct the second installment of the film and has recently wrapped shooting for the third film. He shared a post on his Instagram handle on Friday. "'11 years of 'Drishyam'. Some films become milestones, but a few become a part of your life. 'Drishyam' has been both for me," he wrote in the caption.

He went on to thank the cast of the film and late Kamat. "Forever grateful to Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Kamlesh Sawant, my father Kumar Mangat Pathak, and most importantly, the late Nishikant Kamat. Thank you to our incredible team, and above all, to the audiences who have loved, believed in, and stood by 'Drishyam' for the last 11 years. As we celebrate this journey, I’m filled with gratitude and excited for what lies ahead," he added.

Pathak is producing "Drishyam 3" alongside Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare and Kumar Mangat Pathak. The film is set to release on October 2 and will feature Devgn, Tabu, and Saran return to reprise their roles.

Unlike the previous installments, which were remakes of Mohanlal's films, the Hindi version of "Drishyam 3" will have a different narrative.
