Zendaya has shared her take on what makes a “perfect marriage,” even as speculation continues about a possible private wedding with her Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland.

In a recent interview, the Euphoria star said she doesn’t believe in the idea of a flawless marriage, but values deep friendship between partners.

“I don’t know if there’s any such thing as a perfect marriage… but people who seem like best friends—that’s always nice to see,” she said, adding that mutual liking is just as important as love.

Rumours about the couple secretly tying the knot have been circulating, fuelled by Zendaya being spotted wearing a gold band alongside her engagement ring. However, neither she nor Holland has confirmed the reports.

Addressing viral AI-generated wedding photos, Zendaya dismissed them as fake. “Many people have been fooled… they’re AI. They’re not real,” she clarified.

The actress has often spoken about maintaining privacy in her personal life, saying she chooses what to share despite being in the public eye. Holland has echoed similar sentiments, describing their relationship as something they “protect” and keep sacred.

The couple, who got engaged in January 2025, first bonded while working on the Spider-Man films and have long described each other as close friends.
