Fahadh Faasil is set to headline an upcoming untitled film directed by C. Prem Kumar, with the makers officially announcing the project by sharing photos and videos from the first day of shooting.

Faasil, one of Malayalam cinema’s most celebrated stars, has earned acclaim for performances in films such as Pushpa, Aavesham, Maamannan, Malik, Vikram, Dhoomam, Joji, Super Deluxe, and Kumbalangi Nights, among many others.

Production house Vels Film International shared glimpses from the film’s pooja ceremony on its official X handle as the project formally went on floors. The launch event brought together producer Ishari K. Ganesh, Fahadh Faasil, director Prem Kumar, and members of the film’s crew, marking the official beginning of the cinematic journey.

The film’s music will be composed by Govind Vasantha.

Prem Kumar is best known for directing acclaimed films such as 96, Jaanu, and Meiyazhagan.
