Bollywood actor Sunny Deol made his first public appearance since the passing of his father, veteran actor Dharmendra, on November 24, at the teaser launch of his upcoming film Border 2. The emotional outing saw Deol visibly moved as he delivered one of the film’s dialogues in his signature powerful style.

During the event, Deol recited the line, "Awaaz kahan tak jaani chahiye?" to which the audience responded, "Lahore tak." While repeating the dialogue with intensity reminiscent of the teaser, he became teary-eyed, marking a poignant moment for fans and the film fraternity.

Sunny Deol made a dramatic entry, arriving in a jeep that immediately set the tone for the war drama. He was joined by his co-stars Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, seated alongside him in the vehicle. The teaser was released on Vijay Diwas, December 16, showcasing intense action sequences set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war, highlighting the bravery and resilience of Indian soldiers.

The Border 2 teaser features Sunny Deol’s stirring voiceover and displays battle sequences involving Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, interspersed with emotionally charged moments reflecting love and family bonds. Alongside Deol, the film introduces Dhawan, Dosanjh, and Shetty as the new faces joining the franchise.
