Bollywood star Sunny Deol on Friday celebrated the first anniversary of his film "Jaat" and said he will soon share updates about the second instalment.

The film was directed by Gopichand Malineni and released on April 10, 2025. Also featuring Randeep Hooda, the film revolved around a traveller (Deol) seeking an apology from a crime boss (Hooda) in a lawless Andhra village, leading to intense clashes, gritty action, and themes of justice and corruption.

Deol shared a video montage on his Instagram handle, which featured scenes from the film and glimpses of the actors from the promotions.

"One year of 'Jaat’s' release … and what a ride it was!

Still reminiscing about the madness, the action, and the sheer fun we had while shooting this film. Every day on set was filled with energy, passion, and that unmistakable Jaat spirit. Truly one of the most enjoyable journeys," the actor wrote in the caption.

He also assured his fans and followers that the makers will soon release updates on the second instalment of the film, which was announced in 2025.

"A big shoutout to @dongopichand for his vision and for bringing this world alive so powerfully. And @randeephooda and @vineet_ksofficial wishing you both nothing but the best always. It was a pleasure sharing the screen with you. And… maybe it’s time to gear up again

Some good news about 'Jaat 2' coming soon!
