Samsung on Friday announced that it has certified 2,000 students in Bengaluru under its flagship Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) programme, aimed at strengthening Karnataka’s pipeline of future-ready digital talent.
As part of the Bengaluru initiative, students underwent industry-oriented, hands-on training in emerging technologies. Of the total certified, 1,100 students completed courses in Artificial Intelligence, while 900 were trained in Coding and Programming, the company said in a statement.
Samsung said the programme is designed to enhance employability by equipping young learners with practical and job-relevant digital skills that align with rapidly evolving industry demands.
The Samsung Innovation Campus is currently operational across 10 states in India and forms a key component of the company’s commitment to support the Government of India’s skilling and digital empowerment vision. Building on the Bengaluru milestone, Samsung reiterated its plans to further expand its skilling initiatives in Karnataka, contributing to its nationwide objective of training 20,000 students in future technologies.
Launched in India in 2022, the programme focuses on widening access to advanced technology education, particularly for students from underserved and semi-urban areas. It is being implemented in collaboration with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) through accredited training partners.
