Bartronics India Limited (BIL) has reported a strong financial turnaround in the third quarter of FY26, posting a net profit of ₹2.44 crore compared to a loss of ₹0.32 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company recorded revenue of ₹48.35 crore during the quarter, while EBITDA stood at ₹2.60 crore. This marks a sharp year-on-year rise from ₹8.70 crore in revenue and ₹0.37 crore in EBITDA reported in Q3 FY25. The latest results cap a robust nine-month performance, with Bartronics witnessing significant growth driven by its extensive presence in rural India. Over the nine-month period, the company’s revenue rose by more than 120 per cent, while net profit surged over 370 per cent on a year-on-year basis.

Commenting on the performance, Managing Director N. Vidhya Sagar Reddy said the results reflect the strength of the company’s rural-focused business model and the scalability of its transformation initiatives. He noted that Bartronics has consistently built its strategy around the intersection of financial inclusion, agri-technology and health-technology, which has contributed meaningfully to its improved performance during the current financial year. He added that the company has developed an integrated platform aimed at delivering sustainable growth and long-term value, while continuing to invest in artificial intelligence-driven rural solutions and supply-chain digitisation, with a strong emphasis on governance and capital efficiency.

Bartronics currently operates in nearly 5,000 villages across 10 states through its Banking Correspondent network, catering to a large rural customer base. In December 2025, the company rolled out Project AVIO, a unified rural digital platform designed to onboard 20 million farmers, establish 1,000 Smart Agri Stores, and enable rural commerce transactions targeting a gross merchandise value of USD 1 billion over the next three years.

The platform will be introduced in phases and will offer a wide range of services, including agricultural inputs, digital advisory tools, embedded financial products, carbon and climate-related services, market linkages and supply-chain support. These offerings will be powered by data analytics and artificial intelligence to enhance farm productivity, improve income stability and expand market access for farmers.

In addition to its agri-tech initiatives, Bartronics has expanded into the health-tech space through a partnership with Huwel Life Sciences. This collaboration focuses on molecular diagnostics, including the ICMR-approved Quantiplus® TB Fast Detection Kit. The company has maintained a clear operational separation between its agri-tech and health-tech verticals while continuing to broaden its overall ecosystem.
