Tuba Rukaiah of Kerala has won the top award for Arabic calligraphy the competition for which was organized by the embassy of Saudi Arabia here on the International Arabic Day celebrations.The Saudi Embassy in India also organized a speech competition in Arabic on the Day.
The competition was organized in two phases. In the first phase, two students each from Islamic higher educational institutions across the country participated online. The five selected candidates were invited for the final round held on 18 December 2021 at the Center for
Information Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia.
The entry of Tuba Rukaiya, a student of Al Jamia Al Islamia, Shantapuram, Kerala, was adjudged the best one and awarded the first prize in the Arabic calligraphy competition.
Rukaiah’s father Bashir Muhiuddin-Jazeela CK Capple has expressed his happiness at his daughter's success.
Tuba Ruqaiya was handed over the first prize by Ustad Majid bin Abdul Rahman Al Utaabi.
Daughter Ruqaiya's father said on this success, May Allah bless everyone with such a child so that the head of the parents can be held high with pride.
