Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday facilitated the movement of 35 vehicles that had been stranded due to heavy snowfall in the border district, officials said.
The district administration launched a snow-clearing operation at Sadhna Top on the Kupwara–Tangdhar road to ensure the safe passage of the stranded vehicles, they said.

People have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel to high-altitude areas and to strictly follow traffic advisories until weather conditions stabilise, the officials added.
