Diwali, the festival of lights celebrated in commemoration of Lord Ram’s return to his Kingdom Ayodhya after 14 years of exile, is being celebrated across the world, particularly in places where Indian Diaspora has a sizeable presence.
The focus was on Ayodhya where it is the first Diwali after the opening of the Ram Janambhoomi Temple after a prolonged legal dispute. The temple was decorated in resplendent lights and looked a sight to behold forever.

Several cities in India held the laser and drone shows on the occasion.
The festival was celebrated in the White House, the official residence of the US President.

Several missions in India also celebrated the festival of light with the US ambassador Eric Grecetti stealing the limelight with his bhanga-style dance on the Vicky kaushal;s TaubaTauba..peppy number in the Diwali party. The video of the dance went viral on X.
