New Delhi
A Delhi court on Monday sent Pune-based physics lecturer Manisha Sanjay Havaldar to six days of CBI custody in connection with the alleged NEET-UG paper leak case.
Special Judge Ajay Gupta allowed the plea moved by the Central Bureau of Investigation seeking custodial interrogation of the accused.
During the hearing, the agency informed the court that Havaldar, who was associated with the translation process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, had allegedly circulated physics questions that were sent for translation along with other accused persons.
The CBI had arrested Havaldar on May 22 and later produced her before the Delhi court after obtaining transit remand.
