A Delhi court on Thursday remanded Rahul Meena, the 19-year-old domestic worker accused of killing the daughter of a senior Indian Revenue Service officer, to four days of police custody.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Deepika Thakaran granted the request of Delhi Police seeking custodial interrogation of the accused.
The victim, a 22-year-old graduate of Indian Institute of Technology and daughter of a senior IRS officer, was allegedly raped and murdered at her residence in Kailash Hills in southeast Delhi on Wednesday morning.

Police said Meena, who had earlier worked as domestic help at the house, is also accused of involvement in the alleged sexual assault of another woman in Alwar just hours before the Delhi crime. Investigations are underway.
