Emirates Airlines has started providing menu cards printed in Devanagari script to its Indian passengers. This initiative was a pleasant surprise for Hindi-speaking Indians. This step not only made Indians feel proud, but it also reflected the growing prestige of India and the growing influence of Indian culture in Arab countries.

Famous lyricist Manoj Muntashir, a well-known songwriter for Hindi films, praised this move. Sharing the picture of this menu card in one of his posts, he wrote, "Zoom in this photo and see the menu card of #Emirates Airline, it is printed in Devanagari. This was a pleasant surprise while coming from Dubai to Mumbai last week. We are proud that the head of our mother Hindi is kissing the sky. Jai Hind, Jai Hindi!!”

Muntashir’s message not only showed Indian culture and languages getting recognition on the global stage today. This move by Emirates Airlines sends a positive message that Hindi and Indian cultures are getting more recognition internationally.

This is not the first time Emirates Airlines has taken care of the needs and interests of Indians. This airline has also provided many other facilities for Indian passengers, including special menu cards for veg and vegetarian food.

Special attention has been given to Indian food options in Emirates Airline so that Indian passengers can get food like they would at home.

Emirates' vegetarian menu offers Meal which is rich and spicy with flavours from the Indian subcontinent. It includes vegetables, fresh fruits, dried fruits, pulses, tofu, cereals, and vegetarian gelatin. This meal does not contain meat or meat products, fish, eggs, etc.

In addition, a Non-Vegetarian Hindu Meal (HNML) is also available, which is prepared for passengers who follow the rules of Hinduism. This menu includes non-vegetarian food such as chicken, fish, lamb, eggs, dairy products, and cereals, and no beef or smoked fish.

Special Vegetarian Meal (VJML) is also available for the Jain community, which uses only pure vegetarian ingredients. It does not contain onion, garlic, potatoes, root vegetables like carrots, meat, eggs, dairy products and seafood.

It is not just a matter of variety of food but it shows that Emirates Airlines is showing its understanding and respect towards Indian culture and religious traditions. This move is a matter of pride for India and Indians and it shows that the influence of Indians is increasing around the world.

Apart from this, the great air travel experience that Emirates Airlines provides to its passengers is also noteworthy. Passengers traveling in economy class get delicious multicourse meals that reflect the flavours of their destination. Apart from this, passengers also get complimentary beverages throughout the journey. This focus of Emirates Airlines on the cultural and food preferences of its passengers makes every journey even more special.
