Senior BJP leader and the party’s Kerala in-charge Prakash Javadekar on Saturday said the people of Kerala would “teach a lesson” to both the United Democratic Front (UDF) and the Left Democratic Front (LDF) over the disruption of an artificial intelligence summit in New Delhi by Congress activists.

In a post on X, Javadekar termed the incident the “lowest point of Congress politics,” alleging that party workers entered the AI summit “shirtless and shameless.” He described the protest as an act of desperation and claimed such actions amounted to “anti-India activities.”

He further alleged that Rahul Gandhi and the Indian National Congress had eroded public trust through such conduct. “Keralites do not like these antics. The people of Kerala will teach the UDF and LDF a lesson,” Javadekar wrote.

In a video message, the BJP leader said the incident reflected the Congress party’s style of politics. He noted that delegates from several countries had gathered at the summit to deliberate on the future of artificial intelligence and were appreciating the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India’s technological talent.

“Turning an AI summit into an anti-India event is unacceptable. What should have been a global discussion on technology was converted into political theatrics,” he alleged.

Javadekar also claimed that the LDF could not distance itself from the controversy, alleging that it had previously joined demonstrations in Parliament under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. “People do not approve of such politics, and Kerala will respond accordingly,” he said.
