Manoj Sinha on Wednesday launched the ‘Drug-free Jammu and Kashmir campaign’ in Ramban, asserting that when society stands united behind a cause, the law becomes a thousand times stronger.
Manoj Sinha had earlier launched the 100-day intensive anti-drug campaign from Jammu on April 11 and from Kathua on April 13.
Leading a padyatra and addressing a public meeting in Ramban, he said the initiative aims to eradicate drug addiction from its roots, transform society and secure the future of youth.
“This wasn’t an ordinary event. We were gathered with resolve to eradicate drug addiction from its roots, transform society, and secure our youth’s future,” he said.
Emphasising collective responsibility in tackling drug abuse, Manoj Sinha said a strong social movement would reinforce legal measures.

“I firmly believe that when society stands united behind a cause, the law becomes a thousand times stronger. We must build a society where the dealer fears law, and the one who breaks free from drugs feels proud of themselves, their family, their society, and their government,” he said.
