Delhi Police on Wednesday filed a supplementary chargesheet against Manoj Yadav alias Manoj Kaira in an organised crime case under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) linked to gangster Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu.
The development was placed before the Rouse Avenue Court, where Special Judge Vishal Gogne directed that the chargesheet be formally filed at the facility counter and listed the matter for further consideration on January 15.
Manoj Yadav was arrested in connection with the alleged organised crime syndicate run by Kapil Sangwan. Former Aam Aadmi Party MLA Naresh Balyan is also among the accused in the case and remains in judicial custody. The court extended the judicial custody of all accused, including Balyan, till the next date of hearing.
The court also sought a response to accused Vikas Gehlot’s plea seeking interim bail on medical grounds related to his father’s health and scheduled a hearing on the application for December 26.
According to Delhi Police, Kapil Sangwan is accused of operating an organised crime syndicate and is believed to have fled to the United Kingdom. He was declared a proclaimed offender in May 2025.

The court has already taken cognisance of offences under Sections 3 and 4 of the MCOC Act in February 2025. Several accused, including Manoj Yadav, continue to remain in judicial custody in the case.
