Former Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday held a courtesy meeting here with his successor Samrat Choudhary, who was sworn in on April 15.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, along with other senior leaders, were present on the occasion.
“Today, the arrival of ‘Jananeta’, Bihar's popular former Chief Minister Shri @NitishKumar ji took place at my official residence. I accepted his greetings and received his guidance,” Choudhary said in a post on X.

The change of guard in the state was necessitated by Kumar, 75, becoming a member of the Rajya Sabha, bringing an end to his 20-year tenure as chief minister.
