C. Joseph Vijay on Wednesday dismissed opposition allegations of horse-trading, asserting that his government believes in “horse-speed,” not political bargaining.
Replying to discussions in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly on the confidence motion moved by him in Chennai, Vijay said his administration is focused on fast-paced governance and decisive delivery rather than engaging in political manoeuvring.
“Our government runs with horse-speed, not horse-trading,” the chief minister remarked while responding to criticism from opposition benches during the floor test proceedings.
Vijay also reiterated that his government would remain firmly committed to secular principles and inclusive governance.
