The National Testing Agency has launched a dedicated digital training programme for examination officials on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform to strengthen supervision and invigilation of its examinations, including the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
The initiative, titled 'Pariksha Karmayogi: Capacity-Building Programme for Examination Officials', has been designed to enhance the capabilities of examination personnel and ensure the smooth, secure and standardised conduct of offline, pen-and-paper examinations, the NTA said in a statement on Saturday.
The programme is specifically aimed at examination functionaries, particularly Centre Superintendents and Invigilators involved in conducting NTA examinations, including National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate).
According to the agency, the course consists of four modules covering the entire examination process.
The first module introduces participants to the programme and outlines the responsibilities of examination officials in maintaining fairness, transparency and integrity.
The second module focuses on pre-examination preparedness, including centre readiness, security arrangements and compliance with standard operating procedures.
The third module addresses examination-day operations through four stages: before the examination begins, at the commencement of the test, during the examination, and after its conclusion.
The final module serves as a quick-reference guide, summarising key instructions and responsibilities for examination personnel.
Hosted on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform, the programme enables standardised, self-paced learning and provides assessment-based certification for examination officials across the country.
The NTA said the initiative aims to improve procedural compliance, operational efficiency and accountability at examination centres.
"Well-trained personnel are critical to the smooth and fair conduct of large-scale national examinations. By establishing uniform examination administration standards, the programme reinforces NTA's commitment to excellence and integrity in its examinations," the statement said.
It added that the initiative reflects the agency's continued efforts to leverage technology-driven capacity building and strengthen the examination ecosystem through trained and certified manpower.
The development comes amid heightened scrutiny of the examination process following the cancellation of this year's NEET-UG.

The NEET-UG examination for admission to medical courses was conducted on May 3 but was cancelled by the NTA on May 12 following allegations of a question paper leak. The Central Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating the matter, and a re-examination has been scheduled for June 21.
