Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended warm birthday greetings to Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, commending his efforts towards addressing the hopes and aspirations of the people of the state.

In a message shared on social media platform X, the Prime Minister described Sangma’s work for Meghalaya as commendable and offered prayers for his well-being and longevity.

“Birthday greetings to Meghalaya Chief Minister Shri Conrad Sangma Ji. His commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Meghalaya is commendable. I pray for his good health and long life,” Modi said in the post.

Responding to the Prime Minister’s message, the Meghalaya Chief Minister expressed his appreciation and sought his blessings.

“Thank you, Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi ji, for your kind blessings. May God bless you,” Sangma wrote on X.

The chief minister also received birthday wishes from a wide cross-section of political leaders, party members and supporters across Meghalaya. Many of them praised his leadership and acknowledged his contributions towards the state’s development and governance.
