Five people, including four tourists, sustained injuries after a passenger bus overturned in Tangmarg town of Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district on Wednesday, officials said.

The accident took place in the busy main market area of Tangmarg, a gateway to the popular tourist destination of Gulmarg.

According to officials, the injured include four tourists travelling in the vehicle and the local driver. Emergency responders rushed to the spot and shifted the victims to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities said all five injured persons are in stable condition.

The cause of the accident is yet to be determined, and further investigation is underway.
