Newly appointed West Bengal Governor R. N. Ravi on Monday called on Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The President’s office shared a photograph of the meeting in a post on X.

“Governor of West Bengal Shri R.N. Ravi called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan,” the post said.

Ravi was sworn in as the Governor of the poll-bound state on March 12.

Polling in West Bengal will be held in two phases on April 23 and April 29, while counting of votes is scheduled for May 4.
