New Delhi
At a time of rapid technological disruption, geopolitical flux and an evident erosion of values, the 16th World Confluence of Humanity, Power & Spirituality (WCHPS) is set to return to Kolkata with a timely focus on “Spiritual Intelligence.”
Organised by the Universal Spirituality and Humanity Foundation under the Kanoria Foundation initiative, the two-day conclave will be held on December 26–27, 2025, and inaugurated by West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose. The event will bring together global leaders, spiritual thinkers, policymakers, scientists, educators and corporate voices.
Over the past 15 years, the World Confluence has established itself as a distinctive forum where governance, business, science and spirituality intersect. Conceived by Dr H P Kanoria, Chairman of the Kanoria Foundation, the platform is anchored in the belief that lasting progress can only be achieved when power is tempered by humanity and spiritual values. What began in Kolkata in 2010 has since evolved into a global dialogue shaping leadership thought across sectors and geographies.
The 16th edition gains added relevance as artificial intelligence reshapes societies and economies at unprecedented speed. While technology continues to drive efficiency and innovation, the Confluence will emphasise the need to nurture spiritual intelligence, the inner compass rooted in wisdom, empathy, ethics and purpose. The discussions aim to place human consciousness at the heart of leadership and decision-making.
The programme will feature a diverse group of speakers, including spiritual leaders, senior policymakers, jurists, scientists, diplomats, corporate executives and social reformers. Reflecting the Confluence’s ethos, the dialogue will transcend religious, cultural and professional boundaries, celebrate diversity while identify shared human values.
Past editions of the World Confluence have hosted former Presidents, Governors, ministers, diplomats, Nobel Laureates, scientists and entrepreneurs, addressing themes such as ethics, sustainability, peace, women empowerment and environmental responsibility. Even during the pandemic, the platform successfully transitioned online to ensure continuity of dialogue.

Headquartered in Kolkata, the Kanoria Foundation guided by its philosophy ‘Work with Devotion’ has long championed value-driven development across education, healthcare, women’s welfare, sustainability and spirituality. Through the World Confluence, it has positioned spirituality as a constructive force in leadership, diplomacy and nation-building.
As it enters its sixteenth year, the Confluence underscores a powerful message: power without humanity is fragile, and progress without spirituality is incomplete. In an increasingly polarised world, the World Confluence offers a space for reflection and convergence advocating a leadership model where people, purpose and prosperity coexist in balance.
