Vijay Sethupathi, celebrated for his versatile roles in films like Super Deluxe and Jawan, recently shared his refreshing approach to fitness, diet, and body image. The actor revealed that while he maintains regular workouts and a generally healthy lifestyle, he deliberately avoids checking his weight. “I get depressed when I see the numbers,” he admitted, explaining that his weight has fluctuated over the years.

Instead of chasing a particular number on the scale, Sethupathi focuses on self-confidence and comfort in his own skin. He highlighted that tailored fitness and diet routines work best for individual needs, rather than following generic advice.

The actor also opened up about his relationship with food, stating he does not subscribe to strict diets or the pursuit of six-pack abs. “I love to eat tasty food. Life isn’t fun if I don’t enjoy what I eat,” he said. He added that his workouts are inconsistent, sometimes lasting a week or two before he takes a break—but he embraces the cycle without guilt.
