The international pavilion by the Forum of Indian Food Importers at AAHAR 2026 was inaugurated with strong global participation, highlighting food and beverage innovations from across the world.
The event saw the presence of Piyush Goyal, along with senior diplomats and officials, including representatives from Canada, Australia, Brazil, Thailand, Chile, United States, and the European Union.
Country-specific pavilions were also inaugurated by diplomatic representatives, reflecting the wide international footprint of the exhibition.
At the event’s finale, Brazil secured the gold award for the best international pavilion, followed by Australia with silver, and Ashapura with bronze.
Amit Lohani said the pavilion brought together a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including chefs, retailers, importers, policymakers, and e-commerce players, creating a platform for global collaboration in the food sector.

He noted that participation from regions spanning Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and beyond demonstrated the growing presence of international food brands in the Indian market.
