Fans at the Haryana Sports University in Rai were treated to an action-packed evening as Panipat Panthers registered a dominant victory over Gurugram Gurus, while Rohtak Royals handed Hisar Heroes their first defeat of the season during Day 6 of the Kabaddi Champions League (KCL), according to an official release.
In the opening match of the double-header, Panipat Panthers put on a commanding display to outplay Gurugram Gurus 42–27. After a brief period of early exchanges, Panipat seized control through the sharp raiding of Narender Kandola and Meetu Sharma. Their defence, led by Ankit Jaglan along with Deepanshu Khatri and Ashish Narwal, kept the Gurugram raiders under sustained pressure.
The Panthers forced multiple all-outs, including a decisive one early in the second half that stretched their lead to nine points. Meetu Sharma was the standout performer, repeatedly breaking through the Gurugram defence to complete a Super 10. Ankit Jaglan also made a significant impact at the back, registering a High 5 to ensure Panipat maintained their dominance. Despite a few spirited moments from Neeraj Narwal, the Gurugram Gurus could not end their winless run.

The second encounter saw Rohtak Royals deliver a composed and clinical performance to defeat Hisar Heroes 40–28, inflicting their first loss of the tournament. Hisar made a promising start with early defensive points, but Rohtak soon turned the tide with a disciplined and well-organised defence.
Sandeep Narwal led the Royals’ defensive unit, completing a High 5 and effectively neutralising key raider Ashu Malik. Rohtak capitalised on their defensive strength to enforce two all-outs, opening up a commanding advantage by halftime.
On the raiding front, Vijay Malik impressed with a Super Raid and consistent scoring, while Naveen and Ankit Rana provided solid support. The Royals continued to build pressure in the second half, pulling away comfortably to seal the contest.
