Besides Indian women winning the ODI match against Pakistan in the World Cup in New Zealand, the most memorable moment of the event was a heartwarming picture of the bonding between the two teams over a child.
After the match was over, the Indian players were seen spending time with Fatima, thesix-month-old daughter of Pakistan team’s captain Maroof Bismah. The pictures and video of the interaction have not only gone viral on social media, but it’s also changing the mood in the two countries that are not on the best of terms these days.
The International Cricket Committee shared images of Maroof Bismah with her toddler posing with the Indian team on its Twitter handle.

The netizens of both countries were wowed by this heartwarming gesture and shared it copiously on social media.
The video of the Indian players playing with Fatima who is in her mother’s lap has been widely shared and commented on by people on social media. It was also shared by cricketers sachin tendulkar and Mohammad Kaif on Twitter. Kaif wrote wrote "always knew women are better."
Maroof Bishmah was touched by the video and images of her daughter being wooed by the Indian players viral and aid,” It was very different feeling coming back I the world cup and playing the match. She said, "I was a bit emotional. My mother and daughter are here. It was a very special moment for me and I really want it to count.”
