Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to jointly address the India-Jordan Business Forum with King Abdullah II during his official visit to Jordan on Tuesday, the Ministry of External Affairs said.
MEA Secretary (South) Dr Neena Malhotra said the forum will be attended by leading business representatives from both countries and is expected to see participation across sectors such as fertilisers and textiles, as well as emerging areas including renewable energy, information technology and healthcare.
Later in the day, the prime minister, accompanied by Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, is scheduled to visit the Jordan Museum, she said.
Several memoranda of understanding and agreements have been finalised during the visit in areas such as new and renewable energy, digital technology, water resource management, culture and people-to-people exchanges, Malhotra added.

Prime Minister Modi hailed the outcomes of the visit, describing them as a meaningful step in expanding ties between New Delhi and Amman. He said the wide-ranging agreements reflected the growing depth of the India-Jordan partnership.
In a post on X, Modi said cooperation in renewable energy demonstrated a shared commitment to clean growth, energy security and climate responsibility.
The agreements include MoUs on renewable energy cooperation, water resources management, a twinning agreement between Petra and Ellora, renewal of the cultural exchange programme for 2025–29, and a letter of intent on sharing digital public infrastructure solutions.
Modi was received by Jordanian Prime Minister Jafar Hassan upon arrival in Amman and later held talks with King Abdullah II at Al Husseiniya Palace on bilateral, regional and global issues.

From Jordan, the prime minister will travel to Ethiopia for his first official visit to the African nation, before concluding the tour in Oman.
