Ashmat wins 13 gold medals in engineering

Ashmat Sharmin has set a record of sorts by winning 13 gold medals in the final examination of civil engineering.

She has become the topper of her university.

Ashmat is excited by this and she is planning to sit in competitive examinations of the UPSC and become a civil servant.

Ashmat Sharmin is a student of civil engineering at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangaluru, Karnataka.

Her college is affiliated with the Vishwarya Technical University of Bangalore. In the recently released results of the engineering stream, Ashmat has not only topped civil engineering, but she also topped in the university by scoring 9.42 CGPA.

University Chancellor Vijubhakta C honored Ashmat Sharmin for her achievements in a function. She was also awarded 13 gold medals at the function. Apart from him, Dheeraj M. University of MBA was second in the exam. He has scored 8.57 CGPA.

This news of Ashmat Sharamin’s achievement has been shared by IAS officer Mohammad Mohsin on social media.

Ashmat says she is from an ordinary family of Kasargod and wants to succeed in life by getting through the UPSC examinations and change the financial status of her family.
