In the birth certificate of the child born on 26 August, 2021.

Nusrat has been living with Yash Dasgupta even before her differences with her husband industrialist Nikhil Jain were open and she had started living out of the marriage.

While talking to the media recently, she answerd question about the child’s father, “I think it's a vague question and putting a black spot on one's character as a woman. Is. The father knows who the father is and we are having a great parenthood moment together. Me and Yash, we are having a great time."

Recently when she was asked by media when one can get the first glimpse of the baby boy Yishaan the actress had a witty answer. She said, "You have to ask his father that. Right now, he is not letting anyone see him."

The father's name has been mentioned as Debashish Dasgupta in the online birth certificate uploaded on the website of the Municipality Wednesday night.

Debashish Dasgupta, who contested and lost on a BJP ticket from Chanditala constituency in Hooghly district in the recent West Bengal Assembly elections, is the official name of Yash Dasgupta.

Dasgupta, 35, has been going to the hospital with Nusrat. Last week Nusrat and Yash went to Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

Nusrat is a TMC MP from Basirhat North 24 Parganas, had mentioned in Parliament that she was married to Nikhil Jain, but recently claimed that it was only a live-in relationship.

They have been apart much before their difference became for a long time.

Jain issued a statement saying that although he had insisted on getting married many times, the MP had refused to register. The two had held a gala wedding in Turkey. Nusrat said their marriage was not valid since it was not registered and therefore their relation was that of live-in partners.
