Crude oil prices on Wednesday rose 1.35 per cent to Rs 8,260 per barrel in futures trade amid uncertainties arising from the West Asia crisis.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for August delivery traded higher by Rs 110, or 1.35 per cent, at Rs 8,260 per barrel in 2,699 lots.
Analysts said with Iran firing missiles at Tel Aviv in retaliation for Israel's aggression in Lebanon, crude oil prices moved up in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 1.22 per cent higher at USD 85.37 per barrel, while Brent crude rose 1.43 per cent to USD 92.31 per barrel in New York.
