Alia Bhatt made a standout debut on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, appearing in a custom coral silk couture gown created by Tamara Ralph for the opening ceremony on Tuesday.
Bhatt, attending the festival as global ambassador for L'Oréal Paris, wore a bespoke coral silk crepe marocain corseted column gown featuring a structured neckline and a dramatic plunging cutout. The ensemble was paired with a flowing silk voile chiffon scarf that trailed behind her.
Her jewellery came from Chopard, including square-cut diamond earrings and an asscher-cut diamond ring.
Celebrity stylist Rhea Kapoor later revealed that Bhatt’s necklace featured 168.27 carats of rare pink coral, centred around a 5.53-carat Golconda-type 2A diamond.
Earlier in the day, Bhatt was also seen at Hotel Martinez wearing a hand-painted gown by Yash Patil, inspired by the French Riviera with pastel shades of green, blue, lavender, and yellow.
