Actor Charles Melton became the latest addition to the star cast of Universal's untitled film, featuring Matt Damon and Sandra Oh.

The film, which is set to release on November 19, 2027, is directed by Daniels, aka Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, known for "Everything Everywhere All at Once". Kwan, Scheinert and Jonathan Wang will produce the film through their company Playgrounds, according to the entertainment news outlet Deadline.

The plot details are kept under wraps. The production is set to start in Los Angeles. Actor Ryan Gosling was previously attached to feature in the film but exited the project due to scheduling conflicts. Later, Damon replaced the actor.

Melton is known for featuring in the 2023 drama series "Beef" and his role as Reggie Mantle in the CW series "Riverdale", among others.

He will next feature in "Her Private Hell", which is set to release on July 24.
