Golden Globes 2026 complete winners' list

The Golden Globe Awards 2026 concluded on a glittering note on Sunday night, celebrating outstanding achievements across film and television while delivering a mix of expected victories and surprise wins.

Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, the ceremony was held on January 11 and broadcast on the CBS Television Network, with streaming available on Paramount+. The event brought together leading actors, filmmakers, and creators from around the world to honour the year’s most acclaimed work in cinema and television.

Among the biggest winners of the night were One Battle After Another, Hamnet, Sinners, Adolescence, and The Secret Agent, while individual honours went to stars including Timothée Chalamet and Teyana Taylor.

In the film categories, Hamnet claimed the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Drama, while One Battle After Another emerged as the winner in the Musical or Comedy category. The animated feature award went to KPop Demon Hunters, which also featured the winning Best Original Song, “Golden.”

Brazilian thriller The Secret Agent won Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language and also earned Wagner Moura the award for Best Actor in a Drama. Jessie Buckley secured Best Actress in a Drama for Hamnet, while Timothée Chalamet won Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his performance in Marty Supreme. Rose Byrne was named Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.

Supporting acting honours were awarded to Teyana Taylor (One Battle After Another) and Stellan Skarsgård (Sentimental Value). Director Paul Thomas Anderson had a standout night, winning Best Director and Best Screenplay for One Battle After Another. The award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement went to Sinners, which also earned Ludwig Göransson the Golden Globe for Best Original Score.

On the television front, The Pitt won Best Television Series – Drama, while The Studio topped the Musical or Comedy category. Adolescence emerged victorious in the Limited Series or TV Movie category. Rhea Seehorn (Pluribus) and Noah Wyle (The Pitt) won top acting honours in drama series categories.
