Severe storms in Hawaii have wiped out a piece of Hollywood nostalgia, with actor Chris Pratt revealing that a major set from Jurassic World has been destroyed.

In a recent interaction reported by Deadline, Pratt shared that the bungalow used by his character, Owen Grady, in the 2015 film was flattened after a tree collapsed on it during extreme weather. He said he learned about the damage through a message from a friend living on the ranch where the structure was located.

Recalling the moment, Pratt mentioned that the storm struck suddenly, bringing down a large tree that crushed the set entirely.

The destruction follows a series of intense weather conditions across Hawaii, caused by Kona lows—seasonal systems known for triggering heavy rainfall and flooding. Reports indicate that nearly 2 trillion gallons of rain fell over two weeks, making it one of the most severe weather events in recent times.

The impact has not been limited to film locations. Actor Jason Momoa also spoke about the situation, revealing that he and his family had to leave O‘ahu’s North Shore as conditions worsened. While confirming their safety, he expressed concern for those still affected by the floods.

Momoa described the region as extremely rough and urged residents to remain cautious as recovery efforts continue.
