Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan and renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar were the center of attention at the trailer launch of the highly anticipated docuseries, *Angry Young Men: The Salim-Javed Story*, held in Mumbai. The event saw Salim Khan arriving with his son Sohail Khan, while Javed Akhtar attended in his signature kurta pyjama.

The docuseries, set to premiere on August 20 on Prime Video, explores the legendary partnership of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, highlighting their impact on Indian cinema. Produced by Salman Khan Films, Excel Media & Entertainment, and Tiger Baby, the series is executive produced by Salman Khan, Salma Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti. It marks the directorial debut of Namrata Rao and features personal narrations from the duo alongside insights from prominent figures in the film industry.

 

Salman Khan, who has hailed the docuseries as a tribute to his father and Akhtar's enduring legacy, expressed his hope for a future collaboration between the two. “Angry Young Men is a tribute to their creative brilliance and the profound impact they've had on storytelling in Indian cinema,” he stated.

The launch event was also graced by Arpita Sharma with her children Ahil and Ayat, Arbaaz Khan, and Arhaan Khan, along with Sohail Khan's son Nirvaan. Notable attendees included Ritesh Sidhwani, Reema Kagti, Director Namrata Rao, and Manish Menghani, Director-Content Licensing at Prime Video, India.
